Mahajanga : the “RODORODON’NY FANAMBARAM-PANANANA”

The official collective ceremony for the submission of declarations of assets and economic interests (DPIE), entitled “RODORODON’NY FANAMBARAM-PANANANA”, was held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Baobab Tree Mahajanga, bringing together nearly 300 liable officials who came to reaffirm their commitment to transparency and good governance.

Organized with the financial support of the Project for Strengthening Governance through Digitalisation (PREGODI), represented by its Coordinator Mrs. Florence ANDRIANAIVOHERY, the event took place in the presence of the Director General of Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau  (BIANCO), Mr. Gaby Nestor RAZAKAMANANTSOA, and local authorities represented by the Prefect of Mahajanga, the General Secretary of the Boeny Region, as well as the Mayor of the Urban Commune of Mahajanga .

In his address, the Director General of Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO) recalled the importance and mandatory nature of the declaration of assets and economic interests, in accordance with Law No. 2016-020 of August 22, 2016 on the fight against corruption, an essential mechanism for preventing illicit enrichment. He also emphasized that the Boeny Region, due to the abundance of its natural and economic resources, remains an area exposed to a high risk of corruption, making this initiative even more strategic.
