BIANCO partnership with Civil Society Organizations in Fianarantsoa

As part of the implementation of its education and prevention activities, the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO), through its Director General, Mr. RAZAKAMANANTSOA Gaby Nestor, signed two (02) partnership agreements in Fianarantsoa. These were concluded respectively with the NGO FIANTSO, represented by its Executive Director, Ms. RAZATAFIKA Zaza Audoux, and with the EAURIZON 2028 program, represented by its Coordinator, Mr. RAVAZ Josselin. The EAURIZON 2028 program is funded by the Greater Lyon Metropolitan Area, a long-standing partner of the Haute Matsiatra Region.

In summary, the agreement between BIANCO and the NGO FIANTSO aims to strengthen the fight against corruption in two priority sectors, namely land management and public procurement.

In other words, this cooperation focuses, on the one hand, on sensitizing public officials and users of these public services, as well as on land rights among vulnerable populations; and, on the other hand, on conducting advocacy actions with the relevant authorities in order to strengthen land governance and transparency in public procurement.

As for the agreement concluded with the EAURIZON 2028 program, it will contribute to strengthening good governance and combating corruption in ten communes of the Haute Matsiatra Region.
