Un mécanisme de Suivi et d’Evaluation pour lutter efficacement contre la corruption

A monitoring and evaluation mechanism to effectively combat corruption

Antananarivo, July 22 — On July 22 and 23, 2025, a meeting of experts took place at the Carlton Hotel Anosy to establish the foundations of a monitoring and evaluation mechanism for the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (SNLCC) 2025–2030. Organized with the support of UNDP and UNODC, the workshop brought together national and international experts to define a rigorous, evidence-based approach to assess the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures in Madagascar. The event highlighted the importance of reliable indicators and objective analyses to better understand progress, identify obstacles, and guide the interventions of stakeholders.

On this occasion, the Anti-Corruption System, under the leadership of the President of the Integrity Safeguard Committee (CSI): Jean Louis ANDRIAMIFIDY, reaffirmed its primary role in the implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (SNLCC) 2025-2030. A partnership agreement was signed between the CSI and National Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) to ensure the production of reliable statistical data on the landscape of the fight against corruption. This initiative reflects a commitment to strengthening governance and ensuring better coordination among actors involved in the fight against corruption.

The technical presentations and committee work allowed participants to share best practices drawn from local, regional, and international experiences and to revitalize collaboration among stakeholders.
