Head of the DIANA Region reaffirms commitment to transparency and the fight against corruption

Antsiranana, 7 September 2026 — The Head of DIANA Region , Brigadier General Louis Francio MAROVAVY officially submitted his declaration of  asset and Interests (DPIE)to Hans Willy HERY DODANIRINA, Territorial Director of BIANCO Antsiranana.

On this occasion, he reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, integrity and the fight against corruption, stressing that the fight against corruption begins with a change in behaviour and working methods, in service of the of accountability to the population.

For his part, the Territorial Director of BIANCO recalled the importance of DPIE, a legal obligation intended to strengthen integrity and transparency in the exercise of public functions. He also called on all persons subject to this requirement to comply with the obligation, which must be renewed every two years and whose non-compliance with which is punishable by law.
