In Kenya, BIANCO presents Madagascar’s progress in the fight against corruption

The Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO) highlighted Madagascar’s best practices during the 8th General Assembly of the Association of African Anti-Corruption Authorities (AAACA), held in Nairobi, Kenya, from June 16 to 18, 2026. Bringing together representatives from 31 African countries, this meeting provided an opportunity for BIANCO to present several national initiatives in the field of prevention of corruption, notably risk mapping, internal anti-corruption policies, integrity education, declaration of asset and interest (DPIE), the beneficial ownership register, and the promotion of reporting corruption-related offenses cases. These Malagasy experiences generated strong interest and were praised as models that could inspire other African anti-corruption authorities. Through this participation, BIANCO reaffirms its commitment to strengthened cooperation and to governance grounded in integrity, transparency, and accountability.
