Multi-actor workshop to strengthen the fight against corruption in Madagascar
On June 11–12, 2026, representatives of public institutions, judicial authorities, Malagasy anti-corruption system including the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO) the private sector, and civil society organizations gathered in Ivato for a multi-actor workshop dedicated to strengthening the fight against corruption in Madagascar. The opening ceremony was presided over by Fanirisoa Ernaivo, Minister of Justice.

Organized under the auspices of the Steering Committee (COPIL) responsible for implementing the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (SNLCC) 2025–2030, with the support of the International Organisation of La Francophonie and the contribution of the Federation of Malagasy Employers and Entrepreneurs or Fivondronan'ny Mpandraharaha Malagasy FIVMPAMA, this workshop marks an important milestone in the dynamic of Refoundation in Madagascar. The discussions and exchanges conducted during the meeting are expected to generate strategic and consensual recommendations that will contribute to the deliberations and reflections of forthcoming National Consultation on the Fight Against Corruption .
