BIANCO – RAVINALA AIRPORTS: towards strengthening anti-corruption efforts at Ivato and Nosy Be international Airports

As the agency responsible for overseeing the implementation of the  2025–2030 National Anti-Corruption Strategy, BIANCO promotes a Multi-Actor Approach (MAA), partnerships, and synergy in the fight against corruption. In this spirit, a new collaboration was launched today, 13 March 2026, in Nosy Be with Ravinala Airports. During a ceremony held at Fascène Airport in the presence of local authorities and airport actors, the  two Directors General committed to working together to implement concrete activities over the next 12 months aimed at sensitizing the  users and actors, reducing corruption risks, and addressing reports received.

In his speech, the Director General of Ravinala Airports emphasized that user satisfaction, especially for foreign tourists, is the ultimate goal of this initiative, “so that they progressively become ambassadors for Madagascar as a destination abroad”.

For his part, the Director General of BIANCO reminded that combating the trafficking of natural resources is one of the priorities of his mandate, hence this agreement, which will strengthen operational mechanisms contributing to the coordinated and secure management of our airport borders. He concluded by stating that the establishment of a BIANCO Special Office at Nosy Be Airport is planned for this year, 2026.
