MTM: Submission of Declarations of Assets and Economic Interests (DPIE) to BIANCO
Antananarivo, February 24, 2026 – A delegation from the Ministry of Transport and Meteorology (MTM), led by Mr. Jinot RAZAFIMAMONJY, Chief of Staff, visited the headquarters of BIANCO to submit their Declarations of Assets and Economic Interests (DPIE). This initiative demonstrates their commitment to making transparency and compliance with the law as fundamental principles in the management of public affairs.
On this occasion, the Chief of Staff reaffirmed the full availability of the leaders of this ministerial department to collaborate closely with BIANCO in the fight against corruption, emphasizing that this struggle is a shared responsibility for all public actors.
For its part, BIANCO, represented by its Director General, Mr. Gaby Nestor RAZAKAMANANTSOA, recalled that this obligation is part of Madagascar’s commitments under the United Nations Convention against Corruption as well as the national anti-corruption legislation currently in force.
He also highlighted the strategic dimensions of the MTM’s missions and responsibilities, particularly in coordinated border management, the regulation of road transport corridors, and port and maritime management. In this regard, he encouraged the development of an Internal Anti-Corruption Policy (PILCC) and the conduct of a corruption risk mapping exercise to effectively identify and prevent opportunities for corruption and vulnerabilities likely to affect the transport sector.
