Urban Commune of Antananarivo (CUA): Collective submission of Declarations of Assets and Economic Interests (DPIE)

A historic first for the CUA: the staff, personally led by Mayor RAMANANTSOA Harilala, accompanied by senior officials of the municipality, went to headquarters of the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO)  in Ambohibao to collectively submit their DPIE during an official ceremony.

In her speech, the Mayor stated that this initiative is a strong signal of the CUA leaders’ commitment to complying with the Anti-Corruption law and to promoting integrity and transparency in the management of municipal affairs.

In closing the ceremony, the Director General of BIANCO emphasized the high stakes of the DPIE as an effective tool for promoting transparency and strengthening public trust in leaders. He praised the Mayor’s initiative in leading her team to fulfill this legal obligation and specified that BIANCO stands ready to support her in all actions that she will undertake in support the fight against corruption within CUA.
