Sexual violence awareness campaign: BIANCO Mahajanga enlightens students on the legal framework and criminal justice process
As part of a university awareness campaign on sexual violence in universities,the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO) Mahajanga accepted the invitation of the NGO Alternatives Madagascar by participating in the "Campus for Equality" conference. The event was held on July 16, 2026, at the School of Law and Political Science (EDSP) of the University of Ambondrona.

On this occasion,, Ms. Sitraka Maria Patrick RAZANABAHOAKA, Territorial Director of BIANCO Mahajanga, led an interactive session on the theme: "Sexual Violence in Universities : Stopping Corruption and Sexual Harassment."
Her presentation helped clarify the legal framework governing sexual violence, and explain in detail the criminal procedure – from reporting to prosecution. The objective was to promote the fight against corruption and encourage young people to report wrongdoing on university campuses.The discussions were dynamic and participatory. Students asked numerous questions, demonstrating a genuine interest in the procedures and available legal recourse. In conclusion, the Director issued an urgent appeal : "Aza misalasala mitoroka – Dare to report wrongdoing."
