ENVIRONMENT IN DIANA: A Two-Day training on the fight against corruption

On April 13 and 14, 2026, staff from the   Diana Regional Directorate of Environment and Sustainable Development DREDD Diana and Madagascar National Parks(MNP) attended a training session in Antsiranana focused on the fight against Corruption (FAC) . Financially supported by The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and organized through a collaboration between the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (BIANCO) ,  the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD), and the Directorate of  dedicated Anti-Corruption Structure  within MEDD (DULC), the session was officially opened by the Prefect of Antsiranana, who reaffirmed the State’s commitment on this front.

Led by technical experts from BIANCO, the DREDD, and the DULC, the sessions covered several key topics. Participants also shared their field experiences and expressed their expectations. At the end of the training, staff are now equipped with stronger tools to prevent and combat corruption in the environmental sector.
